Reservation and Cancellation Policies
Reservation for the trip is Confirmed upon receipt of Deposit of $400 per person. This can be done by credit card. To Cancel the trip, if requested in writing 61 days or more before the start date, you will receive $200 per person. No Deposit refund, if cancellation is made 60 days or less before the trip start.
Final payment of the trip should be made at least 60 days before start date. Full payment should accompany reservations made less than 45 days before departure. Our Trip prices assumes that final payment is made by cash, personal or corporate check, or money order, and that we are able to clear funds into our bank account.
Any other final balance payment method will result in a 5% additional processing fee. Any fee required by the bank, for example to make a wire transfer, needs to be paid by the customer. If cancelling the trip 15 days or less before the trip, you will receive 50% of the trip price, assuming that at this time you have already paid the full amount of your trip.
Changes in Itinerary after Trip Confirmed
While Outdoor Adventures always strives to be accommodating, changes in hotel arrangements and activities are usually impossible to make once a trip has been confirmed.
Upgrades and/or changes are sometimes available at extra cost. Before placing your deposit for the proposed itinerary, please speak with Outdoor Adventures if you have concerns about anything related with the trip.
Insurance
We strongly suggest that you have your own Travel Insurance that covers Adventure Activities for your trip to Costa Rica with Outdoor Adventures. Also include: theft, trip cancellation, and emergency medical attention.
Notes
- Only selected meals from the menu, in certain price range are included with this price, as well as one non-alcoholic drink. Alcoholic beverages as well as any extras are the sole responsibility of the client.
- There are NOT REFUNDS on unused portions of the tour, lodging, meals and/or activities, or because the client wants and/or needs to finish the trip before it was planned.
Other Circumstances
It is agreed that Outdoor Adventures SA will be relieved of its obligations in the event of acts of God, fire, flood, strike lockout, order of government authorities or any reasonable circumstances beyond its control. This tour can be modified or cancelled for safety reasons at any time. All clients requires to follow the safety rules. Anyone, not following this rules and recommendations will be separated from the tour, without any responsibility from Outdoor Adventures or other providers. No refunds apply for any of these situations.
